Together working for Christ to know him and to make him known.
Dear Member Churches,
Greetings in Jesus Christ, my name is Salome Twum, under the new structure of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches (WARC) I am the Moderator of the Youth Network.
The Network currently consists of five members of the WARC Executive committee; Astrid Hardtke (Argentina), Fanuel Abera (Ethiopia), Salome Twum, (Ghana) and Jitka Krausova (Czech Republic) as well as one member of WARC staff; Partricia Sheerattan-Bisnauth (Guyana).
Our main purpose is to strengthen the community of young people within the Alliance and also to offer our ministry to member churches. We intend to develop a worldwide network of people from our member churches who are involved in youth concerns and have already established networks in their regions in order to reach as many reformed young people as possible.
As you can see we represent a large area of the globe but many significant areas where our member churches lie are currently not represented. We would like to change this. This letter is a chance for you to nominate someone from your member church, whether they be ordained or lay, male or female, under or over 30 years of age to join a wider network of youth concerns.
Please prayerfully consider who it is you will put forward for this position, and feel free to contact me further with any questions you may have.
Many regards,
Salome Twum
Moderator WARC Youth Network
